WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Governor Eric Holcomb deemed INDOT an essential business during Indiana’s stay-at-home orders.
Debbie Calder with INDOT says limited traffic during road work can be a plus during troubling times.
Some local work is the construction on a pedestrian bridge from Terre Haute to West Terre Haute. Actual road work is expected to start in June.
Calder says another project beginning early this month is I-70 resurfacing from the Indiana/Illinois line to the 5.2 mile marker. There’s another resurfacing project on I-70 from SR 641 to SR 59. Those projects are expected to be complete in late july.
