According to a new report, Indiana’s unemployment rate has dropped to 3.3 percent.
The report says the Hoosier state’s unemployment rate stands at 3.3% for December and remains lower than the national rate of 4.1%.
And, with the exception of one month when it was equal (October 2014), Indiana’s unemployment rate has now been below the U.S. rate for more than four years.
Indiana’s total labor force, which includes both Hoosiers employed and those seeking employment, stands at 3.31 million.
The state’s 63.7 percent labor force participation rate also remains above the national rate of 62.7 percent.
