Indiana’s COVID-19 cases now at 645; 17 deaths reported including 1 in Putnam County

INDIANAPOLIS (WTWO/WAWV) — The Indiana State Dept. of Health is now reporting 645 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state.

The latest data reports 17 deaths, including a death in Putnam County.

A total of 4,651 people have been tested.

There are no additional cases reported in Vigo Co., Sullivan Co., or any surrounding counties. Owen Co. is now reporting 4 confirmed cases, and Putnam Co. is reporting 2 cases.

Marion Co. has reported 6 deaths due to COVID-19, the most for any county in the state.

Gov. Eric Holcomb is scheduled to hold a press conference with the latest updates on COVID-19 at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
