Indiana reports more than 800 new cases of COVID-19

INDIANAPOLIS (WTWO/WAWV) – Indiana state health officials announced 809 new cases of the coronavirus Tuesday, bringing to more than 63,000 the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state.

As of Tuesday the number of people with COVID-19 in Indiana was 63,678. The Indiana State Department of Health also reported 16 more deaths, bringing the total number of deaths in the state from COVID-19 to 2,725. There were another 199 probable deaths based on clinical diagnoses.

Indiana is reporting 44.6% of ICU beds and 83.5% of ventilators available.
