LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — After being on the run since Jan. 30, a man wanted in Martin County has been captured and is now in custody, according to a post from Lawrence County Indiana Sheriff’s Office.
Zane Sanders, 23, of Shoals, Indiana, was wanted in Martin County for the following:
- Battery resulting in bodily injury to a police officer (level 5 felony)
- Resisting law enforcement (level 5 felony)
- Reckless driving (C misdemeanor)
- Felony probation violation
According to the release post, Lawrence County officers got information regarding Sanders’ location in Lawrence County. On March 1, an investigation was conducted and officers were able to locate Sanders. Later, a Lawrence County Sheriff conducted a traffic stop after Sanders was seen in his vehicle. Sanders was then arrested by officials.
