Girl Scout cookie sales cut a day short due to Coronavirus

Indiana News

Indianapolis, IN – (WTWO/WAWV) – In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana have announced they are finishing their cookie sale season a day early, canceling more than 420 booth sales across 45 counties for Sunday, March 15.

The council is buying back all the remaining Girl Scout Cookie inventory, nearly 30,000 packages, from local Girl Scouts and underwriting any troop proceeds to make sure girls don’t lose out on the fantastic experiences that cookie sales fund.
