Indiana COVID-19 cases jump to 477, 14 total deaths reported


ISDH has released the latest data regarding COVID-19 in the state.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTWO/WAWV) — The Indiana State Dept. of Health released the latest state data regarding coronavirus cases Wednesday morning.

In total, 477 confirmed cases have been announced in the state, with 14 deaths reported, and 3,356 tests administered, according to the ISDH dashboard.

There have been no additional cases reported in Vigo Co., Sullivan Co., or any surrounding counties. The closest cases to those counties are reported in Putnam Co.

Marion Co. has the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state with 226.

The dashboard also has been updated to reflect the following changes based on information provided to ISDH: One Marion County case has been moved to Hamilton County, two duplicate cases have been removed from the Marion County total, a Warrick County case has been reclassified as an out-of-state resident, an Owen County case has been moved to Monroe County and a Ripley County case has been moved to Franklin County.
