The Indiana Blood Center is currently in critical need of all blood types and asking for donations.

As of Thursday morning, the inventory of blood components was below a one-day supply meaning that multiple orders could not be filled.

The Indiana State Department of Health has been notified that Indiana Blood Center is Calling Critical, which allows them to reach out with media and ask for immediate support. Donors of all blood types are now encouraged to visit one of the seven centers statewide or a mobile blood drive.

Donors can search for mobile blood drives and schedule appointments at DonorPoint.org or call 317-916-5150.
