FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Illinois State Police have reported that local law enforcement across 19 counties received a total of 21 calls reporting threats to schools in the area on Wednesday.

According to a release from ISP, Law enforcement and emergency responders have not found any real threats as a result of the calls, and The ISP Statewide Terrorism and Intelligence Center have no current additional information concerning credible threats that would cause concern for school safety.

All law enforcement, and public safety officers, along with privet sector security officials continue to remain vigilant and are reporting all suspicious behavior to local agencies. While there is a pattern in the illegitimate calls, law enforcement and security officials continue to take each report seriously.
