This Terre Haute park was bustling today with many who look to honor the veterans they know and love.
This is the second year that the Vigo County Veteran’s Memorial Park held a brick laying ceremony to remember our vets.
Forty-eight bricks were laid today totaling to 400 in the park. The group who puts on the event looks to add stones to honor fallen first responders as well.
“Too many are being forgotten. That’s our purpose, we want to get the word out. I think these bricks are an honor for all veterans,” Larry Dietz Sr. with the park said.
The Vigo County Veteran’s Memorial Park is always looking for donations to keep their brick laying and stone laying ceremonies up and running.
