Homicide Victim Identified


Terre Haute Police have identified the victim in an early Sunday morning shooting.  The deceased is 18-year-old Gage E. Eup of Terre Haute.

Police responded to a home in the 2200 block of Cleveland Avenue around 3 A.M. officers found an 18 year old teen dead from a gunshot wound to the head.

20 year old Dylan Morgan is accused of pulling the trigger.  Along with a preliminary charge of reckless homicide, he’s accused of altering the crime scene.

According to THPD, officers found the victim on the living room floor with a gunshot wound to the head. Morgan allegedly told police the victim had accidentally shot himself but the evidence didn’t back that up.
Officers believe that drugs and alcohol were consumed before Morgan recklessly pointed the firearm at the victim.

Morgan’s girlfriend, Sabrei Neace, who lives at the home is facing preliminary charges of obstruction of justice and maintaining a common nuisance.
