Next Step Recovery Foundation held passover dinner tonight at their building at 6th and Washington in Terre Haute.

The foundation is a Christian recovery center that was started 8 years ago to bring a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center to the area. The foundation has 6 houses, an outpatient program and mental health counseling. Funds raised from tonight will help with some renovations to their main building.

“We do this as a fundraiser and also as a way to celebrate the deliverance from addiction because we provide services and programs for people who want to overcome their addictiona nd we consider it a bondage, just like the Israelites were in bondage in Egypt which is what this celebration is all about,” executive director Dana Simons said.
