TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Mayor Duke Bennett received some last minute campaign help Monday when Gov. Eric Holcomb visited Terre Haute.
Bennett was one of 10 mayoral candidates from across the state Holcomb promoted Monday. In a release announcing the visit, Holcomb said the state is on a roll, and he believes the candidates he is endorsing will keep Indiana on the right track.
“Duke has earned another four years,” Holcomb said. “He got the city on the right trajectory. It’s all up for Terre Haute, and I can’t wait. I’m proud of what he achieved, but I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future.”
In addition to promoting his choice candidates, the Governor’s visits were also meant to encourage Hoosiers to get out and vote Tuesday.
