Usually police officers and firefighters are on the same team. But on Wednesday, two departments went head to head in a wing eating competition.

The Vigo County Sheriff’s Department and the West Terre Haute Fire Department competed in the Blazin’ Wing Challenge at Buffalo Wild Wings.
To win, the competitors had to finish 12 blazin’ wings in 6 minutes or less.
This was all part of a fundraiser that is giving 10 percent of the days total sales at Buffalo Wild Wings to the Terre Haute Boys and Girls club.
Dayton Huebner with the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department beat out the competition. He says, “It was miserable. It was like eating something that was on fire. I mean we knew it was going to happen, that we were going to beat the firemen. But I just had to prove it.”

Huebner finished all of his wings with a minute left to spare.
If you would like to participate in this fundraiser Buffalo Wild Wings is donating 10% of all profits made before midnight.
