TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Terre Haute Regional Hospital will let motoring parents know if their safety car seat is appropriate for their children in a Car Seat Check Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Regional Pavilion on the hospital’s grounds, 501 E. Anthony Drive.

A child’s age and size should be the proper criteria for selecting a car seat. Seats with a 5-point harness with straps that go over both shoulders and hips and buckle at the crotch, provide children with the best protection.
