TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A local organization celebrated its staff on July 16th with a party and lots of fun.
Hamilton center hosted its employee kick-off at Tilson Auditorium on ISU’s campus.
Hamilton center treated its staff to food and prizes. The employees also spent most of the morning supporting other businesses by eating breakfast at local restaurants.
Melvin Burks the CEO of Hamilton Center said that this event is meant to show appreciation to employees and board members by acknowledging their hard work.
“I am very proud of the staff in terms of what they’ve done. Particularly doing this past year of COVID 19 has been a wreck on a lot of corporations, businesses, and organizations. And our employees, our corporation, we did not lay off not one employee. So, I’m proud of our employees sticking together and they have the same passion as I do when it comes to serving our consumers,” Burks said.
Hamilton Center has been serving the mental health needs of the Wabash Valley for 50 years.
