News

Hamilton Center celebrates 20 years working with Terre Haute City Court.

Hamilton Center invited past and present judges to a special event.

The PAIR program helps people who end in court and have mental health problems.

The court can refer the person to Hamilton Center for treatment instead of sending them to jail.

Virgil Macke Clinical Social worker and therapis says, “And we learned a long time ago that we mental health professionals and the legal professionals were all working with the same people, so we decided to kind of create this program and get people into treatment rather than in jail.”
