TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — An official groundbreaking has been announced for the Terre Haute Convention Center.
According to the Vigo County Capital Improvement Board, the groundbreaking will be held, rain or shine, at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6. on Wabash Avenue between 7 and 9 streets.
The structure is expected to be complete in Spring of 2021, and will house events and mid-level conventions.
The groundbreaking is open for the public with provided refreshments.
