GREENE Co., Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The state continued its mass immunization clinic at Indianapolis Motor Speedway through the weekend.
More than 8,000 Hoosiers have gotten their vaccine at the clinic, including Governor Eric Holcomb.
Last week, the minimum age to be vaccinated in the state was moved to 50 years of age.
One Greene County man, Timothy Sewell, decided to take advantage of the opportunity to get vaccinated at the speedway.
He said once he heard Governor Holcomb had gotten his vaccine, he would go this weekend.
Sewell added that getting vaccinated while at the famous racetrack was an added bonus.
