TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Greater Terre Haute Branch is hosting a forum on Monday.
The forum will focus on federal executions and the impact on Terre Haute.
The forum will also feature guest presenter Abraham Bonowitz.
The NAACP says that for them, the death penalty is not as much about the individual cases. It is about the death penalty itself.
The organization says the forum will allow individuals to share their stories and be able to learn from each other.
“We’re just one of many organizations that have the same challenge and make sure people are not being put to death by legal state sanction murder,” NAACP President, Sylvester Edwards said.
The forum is at the Vigo County Library at 6:30 PM on Monday.
