Girl Scouts passed out cookies, care packages

News

(WTWO/WAWV) Girl Scout Troop 4262 spent Friday’s noon hour at the Terre Haute bus depot.

After cookie sales, the troop had some cookies left over.

The girls decided to pass out boxes to people during one of the “Manna from 7” distributions.

The Manna group gives food and necessities to people on Friday, to help them through the weekend when food pantries are not open.

The troop also took the money they raised from their cookie sales earlier this year and create care packages that include shampoo, toothpaste and other items.

Manna from 7 is at the Terre Haute bus depot by Hulman Center every Friday from 12:15 to 1:15.
