An exciting new exhibit is being installed at the Terre Haute Children’s Museum.
The museum is aiming to increase older child engagement with rope climbing and ziplining.
The ropes course will have two levels and 20 different elements.
Those brave enough to participate will be able to navigate their way over the ground level and zipline all the way back to the front treehouse.
“We have a lot of exhibits that are kind of geared towards younger kids and they are hands on, but they’re hands on in ways that younger kids are really kind of exploring, at the toddler through elementary ages. So, these exhibits are kind of designed for older kids,” says Lynn Hughes, the executive director of the museum.
The new exhibit will be open to the public on June 19.
