Garage total loss following early morning fire in Terre Haute

VIGO Co., Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A detached garage is a total loss after it went up in flames early Saturday morning in Terre Haute.

The Honey Creek Fire Department responded to the fire at around 3:30 a.m. In the 2000-block of Blueridge Drive.

Crews were able to quickly put the flames out.

They said they check to home to see if the fire spread. It caused minor damage.

The family living at the home was able to stay inside at the time of the fire.

There were no injuries.

The cause is under investigation. The garage is a total loss.
