Gala Honors I.S.U. President

A big event tonight at the Hulman Center as Indiana State University President Dr. Daniel Bradley was honored for his years of service.

Approximately 600 people attended the formal dinner and celebration.  Music, fine food, and special presentations helped make the evening very special for President Bradley and his wife Cheri.

Earlier this year, Dr. Bradley announced that he will be retiring from his position as the I.S.U’s 11th president.

Also tonight, a special portrait of President Bradley and his wife was unveiled .  The painting was done by Bill Wolfe, who also did the Larry Bird statue outside the Hulman Center.

Bradley is retiring to spend more time with his family.  His replacement should be announced by Thanksgiving.
