Former WWE wrestler talks life choices with students

VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The former WWE wrestling champion Marc Mero came to Wabash Valley schools to talk to them about hot the decisions they make in their life can effect them in the future.

He spoke to students in Vincennes, Bicknell, and other placed to teach students about the choices they make.

The event was sponsored by the Knox County Youth Foundation.

Some of the choices he talked about were in relation to deciding to do drugs.

Mero mentioned that nearly 200 kids die a day in the U.S form drug overdoses.

Mero spoke to us about his experiences with these presentations and said, It’s a very emotional program because we deal with these very relevant issues. We can see many students that are in tears. I always say there is going to be laughter, tears and everything in between. And most these presentations are exactly that. I would say that the most common theme is this program changed my life and the students go ‘I never thought it would but it did’ and so we’re seeing a lot of lives being changed.”
