Foggy Morning Leads to Crashes

News

Police say fog contributed to two accidents on State Road 63 Wednesday morning.

One accident was at State Road 63 and Bowen Drive in Prairie Creek in southern Vigo County.

According to police, the driver of the car did not see a stop sign and ran it. That lead to the crash.

No one was hurt.

Also on State Road 63, a school bus went off the road and into a field.

According to Indiana State Police, the driver of the bus also did not see a stop sign due to the heavy fog near State Road 48 in Sullivan County.

He skidded off the road and into a field.

There were more than 20 students on the bus at the time.

Only one student, an 11-year-old, complained of pain. He was taken to the hospital.

The students attend the Rural Community Academy in Graysville.
