Flying for Hope

The Indiana State University’s Flight Academy hosted a Fly in Drive in today at the Terre Haute International Airport.
The event kicked off with a 5k run at 8 am. Around 100 people took part in that run.
Then folks had the chance to tour 3 airlines as well as see some cars in a free car show.
The event was to raise money for Wings of Hope.
Wings of Hope is a free air ambulance based out of St. Louis that offers services to people who couldn’t afford emergency air travel other wise.
The event hoped to raise $5,000 which they did in sponsorship alone.
