A local minister is sharing his story of how his rented limousine became a victim of inauguration protesters.
Last week, Daniel Dyer from Dugger, his wife and another couple paid for a limo to take them around Washington, DC. They never expected their trip would end with a fireball.
Shortly after their driver dropped them off for an event, a group of demonstrators vandalized the vehicle. The protesters broke all the windows, spray painted the sides of the vehicle, and set it on fire.
“These people were indiscriminate on whoever was in that vehicle, you know they had an agenda to do property and physical harm, obviously to people, so we feel blessed that everybody is okay,” said Dyer.
Dyer says he prays for reconciliation. “I pray for them, and say there but for the grace of God go I. I’ve made a whole lot of similar mistakes, and so I’m just believing for grace and opportunity to have these good conversations in the future.”
