There was a serious accident on Route 1 in Clark County, Illinois today.
It happened a little bit south of Marshall, near Lincoln Trail State Park.
Illinois State Police say Shaun Woolard, 29, of Marshall, was traveling southbound on Route 1 and swerved into the path of a semi truck, driven by Danny Collins, 42, of Shoals.
Woolard died at the scene. Collins was not injured.
The road is expected to remain closed for several hours while authorities investigate.
