A little shop at Saint Mary of the Woods’ White Violet Center is making quite the commotion after it’s grand opening last month on Earth Day.
We stopped by the Farm Store today to find that a lot of their products have been picked over by high demand.
That includes fruits and vegetables from the Farm Store’s own garden, like strawberries, kale and asparagus. The store even provides a market for local bakeries to sell their products. The community can discover plenty that the Wabash Valley really has to offer at the Farm Store.
“It’s just wonderful, we’ve met so many wonderful people who have come by, old friends, new friends and we try to honor the requests we get for certain produce, if it’s available and the garden is magnificent, I had a tour of it when I started here and it’s truly magical for all that’s growing there in this season,” Christine Boyle, Farm Store sales associate said.
The Farm Store also offers grass fed and humanely raised beef some from Royer Farms. They also have a texting service for customers to send in their requests. They’re open from 11 a-m to 6 p-m Monday through Friday and 11 to 2 p-m Saturday and sunday.
