Spectrum offering free internet to households with students

STAMFORD, Conn. (WTWO/WAWV) – Spectrum plans on assisting with the COVID-19 virus by providing free internet to households with students.

Students who rely on the Wi-Fi at school can now receive 60 days of free internet access to complete their school work from home.

The offer is available to households with students in grades K-12 that don’t already have a subscription to Spectrum. The company also plans on making Wi-Fi hotspots in select public areas available to everyone for the time being.
