A Wabash Valley tradition that has been around for decades continued this Easter Sunday.
Today, the Sisters of Providence at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods hosted their annual Easter brunch.
According to Tiffany Watson, facilities manager at the Providence Center, food was prepared for 1,000 guests.
Those in attendance could enjoy foods including waffles, omelettes, pasta, and prime rib.
The brunch has been a tradition since the Providence Center was built over 20 years ago and as years pass the crowds continue to grow.
“We have lots of big crowds and we have a lot of 14, 15, to 20 people in a family that will come, and to get that many people together to come out and celebrate with us, we’re really proud of that,” Watson said.
Watson says in addition to serving some good food, the brunch also allows people to explore Saint Mary-of-the-Wood’s campus.
