An Indiana Senator is working to help preserve Hoosier jobs.
Democrat Joe Donnelly is teaming with two other Democratic senators to introduce the end outsourcing act.
It changes policies to stop outsourcing of American jobs particularly to Mexico.
Federal contracts would go to companies employing Americans. Firms locating in poor or rural areas would be encouraged and companies that ship jobs overseas would lose tax incentives.
“What is does it says that if you are seeking federal contracts.”
That federal contract says your tax dollars and everybody’s listed tax dollars
That those funds should be used to buy products from companies that are employing American workers.
As opposed to companies that are area outsourcing the jobs.
So if we have price, quality.. close.. that decision is going to be based on who is outsourcing their work
And who is keeping their work in America.
If it’s in America, then that’s who we’re gonna be using for federal contracts.
Senator Donnelly also wrote a letter to president Donald Trump seeking support of this proposal.
As you may recall President Trump is also against outsourcing jobs to foreign countries, and wishes to keep all American jobs domestic.
