1 person confirmed dead, 2 injured in Thursday morning shooting in Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Police have confirmed a man found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head Thursday morning has died.

Police received a report around 6:15 a.m. Thursday regarding shots fired in the 1100 block of North 9th Street in Terre Haute.

Upon arrival, officers found a male and female victim with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. A third male was found with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

The condition of the other two victims is not known at this time.
