Death Ruled Accidental

Autopsy results are in for a Terre Haute man, who died this weekend while on spring break.

It happened Sunday morning at a condominium complex in Panama City Beach, Florida.

The death of 20-year old Tyler Gilmore, who is seen here during an interview last fall, was ruled an accident.

He suffered blunt force injuries after falling from parking garage.

Friends say he was intoxicated two hours before he was found.

Gilmore was the first male nursing student at Saint Mary-of–the-Woods College, but he left in December.

He graduated from Terre Haute North High School in 20-14 and was an avid wrestler.

His coach says his first day on the wrestling team was memorable.

“He challenged me to a wrestling match the very first day.  Thought he could take me.  So, that was his first impression.  He came in with guns blazing,” says Mark Frisz, wrestling coach at Terre Haute North High School.

Coach Frisz says Gilmore became a team leader who won several awards and brought “fun” to the sport of wrestling.
