ROCKVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A school custodian was arrested Friday after methamphetamine was found in the Parke-Heritage Middle School staff bathroom.
Lisa A. Jones, 58, of Carbon, was arrested on a felony charge for possession of methamphetamine on school property, as well as a misdemeanor charge for possession of paraphernalia.
The investigation began around 8 a.m. Friday when Parke County deputies were notified that suspected drugs were located in the school staff bathroom.
The investigation identified Jones, who works the night shift as a custodian, as the suspect. When she arrived at the school for her shift around 3 p.m., deputies executed a search warrant of her vehicle and located both methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
Jones was transported to Parke County Jail pending posting of $15,000 bond.
