A tasty and terrifying event took place today to benefit a group in the Wabash Valley who works with mental health.
The 4th annual Culinary Queens hosted their fundraising event tonight at Rose-Hulman. The event benefits the FSA Counseling Center in Terre Haute.
Culinary Queens provided samples of their best dishes while folks rocked out to a Halloween themed party.
“FSA Counseling center which provides a lot of under insured individuals mental health counseling. So it’s very important to the whole community because if there’s someone out there who’s struggling, we want to be able to help them and sometimes we can’t so this provides a way that we can always help somebody,” executive director of FSA Jaymie Wood said.
More than 100 culinary queens made an impact tonight for the FSA organization. Skin Spa and Carlene Sakbun won Culinary Queen this year.
