The organization Big Brothers Big Sisters received a big gift on Thursday.
Crew Carwash raised more than $94,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters around the state.
The Terre Haute location presented a $4,800 check to the Wabash Valley chapter on Thursday.
The money was raised through the Crew for Kids fundraiser.
Back in July, the business donated 50% of all Works washes and Ultimate washes to the organization.
“This gives us a chance to give back to our volunteers who are matched with our Littles. It helps them with their match support outings and it helps us do different fundraisers as well,” says Charly Howson, a case manager with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Brad Legue, Operations Manager at Crew Carwash, says of BBBS, “their mission is to create great examples and great leadership for younger children, and we want to be a part of that.”
Crew Carwash has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters for the past nine years.
