A vehicle accident on U.S. 41 headed north bound near Harlan Drive leaves two drivers with minor injuries.
Just before 3:30 p.m. 18 year old Sandeep K. Sadra, of Terre Haute, was traveling north bound along 41. The driver attempted to merge into the left lane not seeing a motorcycle next to her.
She then over corrected causing her truck to go off the roadway briefly before striking the railroad crossing signal on the east side of the roadway. The truck lost its front passenger side tire and finally come to rest partially in the roadway.
Sadra and a front seat passenger suffered minor injuries as a result of the vehicle crash. A third passenger inside of the truck at the time of the crash did not suffer any injuries.
All three individuals were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash. The motorcyclist was not struck during this event.
