COVID-19 cases, deaths down Sunday in Indiana and Illinois

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana State Department of Health on Sunday reported 921 new confirmed cases of COVID-19. Since the start of the pandemic 117,450 coronavirus cases have been reported in Indiana.

A total of 3,354 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 3 from the previous day.

In Illinois, the Illinois Department of Public Health on Sunday reported 1,604 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease throughout the state, including 14 additional confirmed deaths.

Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 287,930 cases, including 8,601  deaths, in 102 counties in Illinois. The age of cases ranges from younger than one to older than 100 years.
