Folks in Vigo County are doing their part and heading to the polls this early election season.
However they continue to run into a few snags with the machines.
As of lately voters have claimed that the machines will not allow them to vote for their intended party.
The Vigo County Annex has already changed out one malfunctioning machine.
Vote inspectors are encouraging voters to speak up about any issues that may need attention.
However it seems that the issue is not mechanical error, but human error.
Because of this staff are are providing each voter with a stylus.
“It has a very specific point. When the voter makes a selection, a gentle tap on the selection avoids anything like the pad of a finger falling into the selection below or above making the selection incorrect,” said Vote Inspector Anita Cheek.
Voters are also encouraged to check their printed ballots in order to make sure their selections are correct.
