Congressman Larry Bucshon is working with the Trump administration to push for regulatory reform especially for the coal Industry. Bucshon is back in the 8th District while Congress is on its Easter recess.
Tonight, he met with Clay County Republicans in Brazil. Bucshon sits on several committees including Energy and Commerce.
Bucshon said, “the big issues are really healthcare because the Affordable Care Act is in trouble and we’re trying to straighten that out, but tax reform is important so we can help make American businesses competitive and we also want to make the tax code for more fair for the American people, so we’ve got a lot on our plate.”
Tuesday morning, Bucshon will be in Terre Haute for an event at the Duke Energy offices. He will also attend an event in Washington, Indiana, later this week.
