MARSHALL, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) – Residents in Marshall, Illinois made a splash Wednesday as the community pool opened under phase 4 of the Restore Illinois plan.
The pool is offering two and a half hour swim sessions and the property is being disinfected between each session.
Pool staff members are checking people’s temperatures as they enter and also having them sign a COVID-19 liability form.
They also ask that people wear masks when outside of the pool and practice social distancing.
Jennifer Bishop, Executive Director of the Marshall Chamber of Commerce, says they’re just excited to give people something to do this summer.
