TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– A local gym, Dedicated Health, and community members came together again Sunday to raise money for the historic 12 points district.

This local gym hosted their first ever appreciation event and it took place on Lafayette Avenue from noon to 5 P.M.

There were food vendors and some family fun activities, like corn-hole and bounce houses for children.

Josh Riggs, Dedicated Health owner, said he looked forward to getting the community to be more active while having fun.

“Honestly I’m just really hoping for a good time,” Josh began. “I’m hoping people come out and realize you can have fun and be active at the same time. Also, to sorta help the community out because we want to give people something fun to do whenever there’s not much going on a Sunday.”

All proceeds will be donated to the 12 Points Revitalization Group.
