TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– Hundreds made their way to Collett Park on Sunday, as the Terre Haute Parks and Recreation department hosted numerous activities for those of all ages to enjoy.

Festivities at the park included a live music, around 30 vendors and multiple arts and crafts stations. There was also a car show.

Local resident Donald Spallone said it’s an event he’s looked forward to each year since his first one, about five years ago. He was pleased with the turnout today.

“It’s great to see the kids here, and see all the people out, because they’ve been out for a few years with all the bad things going on. It’s really great to be here,” he said.

Spallone, who was a participant in the car show, said he enjoys sharing a passion of his with others.

“It’s really a good feeling to watch people look at your car and tell you how nice it is,” he said. “I like the look of them, they’re really nice.”
