The Clabber Girl Corporation of Terre Haute received a special honor Wednesday afternoon at the Indiana Manufacturers Association’s 2017 Hall of Fame Induction Luncheon in Indianapolis.
The corporation, which is a leading manufacturer of baking powder as well as offering a range of cooking and baking ingredients, was selected as one of the eleven inductees into the IMA’s 2017 Hall of Fame.
Governor Eric Holcomb was the keynote speaker at the event, which was held to “showcase manufacturers that have demonstrated a long-term commitment to the mission of the IMA and contributed to the growth of the manufacturing industry in Indiana.”
Senator Jon Ford (R-Terre Haute) also released a statement Wednesday afternoon, saying, “Congratulations to Clabber Girl for being inducted into the Indiana Manufacturers Association’s Hall of Fame. This is a great accomplishment. Manufacturing is an important part of our local economy, and Clabber Girl has created and promoted quality manufacturing jobs and products in the community for over 150 years.”
