A local restaurant is doing its part to show support to workers at the U.S. Penitentiary in Terre Haute.

We recently told you how these workers are being impacted by the partial government shutdown.

Chick-fil-A in Terre Haute is inviting penitentiary employees to enjoy a free original sandwich or 8 count chicken nuggets for free.

The opportunity is on Monday from 10:30 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.

Workers will just need to show a valid USP ID and the offer is one per guest.

It’s only valid at the Terre Haute Chick-fil-A.

The restaurant also posted on its social media pages, “We appreciate your hard work and dedication even in this time of financial uncertainty. Thank you for your service.”
