A man charged in the starvation death of a Vigo County boy has entered a plea agreement.
Chad Kraemer appeared in court this afternoon for a Change of Plea hearing.
Originally, he was scheduled to go to trial on January 16.
His new sentencing date has been set for 2/22/2018 at 1:30 P.M. and Kraemer could spend up to 11 1/2 years behind bars.
Kraemer faces numerous charges, including Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Death.
He is one of four people arrested in the starvation death of 9-year-old Cameron Hoopingarner back in February of 2017.
Autopsy results showed Hoopingarner also had meth in his system.
Among the others arrested in this case, Robin Lee Kraemer is currently serving a 36 1/2 year prison sentence.
Hubert Kraemer and Sarah Travioli are scheduled to appear in court later this month.
