Chances and Services for Youth held their annual appreciation dinner Monday in Terre Haute.
The dinner allowed the organization to highlight all of the people who make everything possible throughout the year.
They have Big Brothers and Big Sisters available for kids who are struggling.
Some of the awards they gave included Big of the Year, Bigs and Badges, and even $500 scholarships to local high schoolers.
“So, we unveiled our annual report that really highlights all the work that our over 16 programs, more than 400 volunteers and over 8,000 children and families that we’re serving throughout a roughly 12 county region in the west central part of the state,” Brandon Halleck, CASY chief operating officer said.
Monday, was the first time the annual report was given to the public. The plan on making it an annual event.
