Teaching kids good manners and social etiquette just got a little easier thanks to a donation by a group of Vigo County Women.
100 Plus Women Who Care Vigo County presented Camp Navigate with a check for $13,000.
The president of the camp’s board of directors says she appreciates the women for recognizing the role the camp plays in our community.
The money will be used to teach children important skills they’ll need to land a job in the future.
Lori Danielson Pres of the Board of Camp Navigate, “Camp Navigate is really here to teach kids at a young age the importance of employability skills. Shaking hands, looking people in the eye, pleases and thank-you’s those are all important things in our workforce.”
